I am visiting Honolulu and Waikiki Beach the week of 3/21 and wanted to get some information on restaurants and things to do. I have heard there are coupon books and would like to know where to purchase them. Thanks
Answer :
I liked Eggs 'N' Things (http://www.eggsnthings.com/). Also, if your budget allows a sushi buffet, there's a Todai restaurant on Ala Moana Blvd. I also ate at the Wailana Coffee House a few times---also on Ala Moana. Wailana is basically like a Denny's.
Answer :
I live here, & I've been to these places in Waikiki:
Tanaka of Tokyo
California Pizza Kitchen (ahaha)
The Cheesecake Factory
Wailana Coffee House (it's just okay..)
Have fun (: Good luck!!
Answer :
When we were there in 08 the coupon books were everywhere. We didn't purchase any they were in magazine stands all over the place around Waikiki Beach. One place we ate at more than once because the food was good and the prices were reasonable was Shorebird Cafe & Beach Bar in the Outrigger Reef on the Beach Hotel.

Best thing to do is go to http://www.imgoingtohawaii.com and there's a whole list of activities and restaurants to check out which can help you plan your trip. In Waikiki, Shorebird is nice, Yardhouse, there's a Jimmy Buffet's Restaurant now, Cheesecake Factory is always good. Hy's Steak house if you like fine dining. We have IHOP, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Teddy's Bigger Burgers, Benihana, Tanaka of Tokyo. Ala Moana Shopping Center is like 5 minutes drive from Waikiki, and they have a lot of restaurants there too. Depends what you want to eat. http://www.imgoingtohawaii.com
