im going on a vacation to kauai this week and i was wondering what i should do to get the most out of the island. nd i dont mean taking tours or ziplining or kayaking, i mean things like jogging along the beach sunbathing, you know things like that. if you have any ideas, just let me know that would be great!

I lived there for 10 years, and there's SO much to do....depends on your interests. If you like the water, try a boat trip or snorkeling.
Land, do some sightseeing. LOTS to see: Waimea Canyon, Wailua Falls, the beaches....
I'm sure you won't be bored, and yes....find some time to sunbathe.

Kauai is awesome and there is a lot of great stuff to see there. The island is small enough to drive around in a day, so I'd recommend driving from one end to the other. My favorite beach was Ke'e beach which is on the edge of the Napali coast. I'd also recommend walking around Waimea Canyon.

Snorkeling on Kauai is the best.
If its winter go to the south of the island, in summer go to the north end.
Kauai has great site seeing all over.
