Why Nassau?

I've been to mexico, cuba, dominican, jamaica, aruba, st marten, hawaii.... and then I went to nassau because everyone says it's amazing. WHY is it so amazing??? everything that you find in nassau you can find in so many other places plus so much more, so WHY do people pay the overpriced vacations to nassau??? when they could go to hawaii (which is soooo amazing)... or even to aruba or st martenn which are beautiful.
Whats so special with nassau? Atlantis is nice and the beach there was nice but to me not worth the price compared to what else you can get for the same cost.

the only thing special bout nassau is that they have atlantis and they have movies that have been shot there but other then that nassua is a piece of crap. i personally hate going there because im afriad of geting kidnaped or shot. And i think its a waste of money going there cause its like going on vacatation in florida.

Yep, Nassau is junk.

To be fair though, everyone has their own favorite place in the islands. A lot of people would hate my favorite because there's nothing there but quiet and rum. If people like the Bahamas, I'm happy that they've found their favorite there. You have found other places that appeal to you more, and that's fine. Enjoy your happy places, and just know that you have now weeded out Nassau as a place that might be your favorite.

well people have their opinions i enjoyed it as OK but i did enjoy jamaica and hawaii but yes its a ok island not great because its not at ALL LIKE AMERICA! lolz but yes it is an ok island but lots of people take cruises there like i did so i guess that may be why because the cruise makes the island look trashy XD! but its great for small vacations.:) hope meh helped

I liked Nassau because I was doing a Yoga retreat there. The Yoga place was very inexpensive. Otherwise I fully agree with you..
