I like feeling cold better than warm!?

I prefer to feel cold rather then warm, I don't know how people can stand lying on the beach in the sun, I prefer lying on a frozen lake in alaska wearing shorts and a T-shirt. Am I normal? I was invited on a trip to Hawaii and I didn't want to go, I explained why but now my friend who invited me avoids me? Why?

Well, are you from a tropical country ? People from tropical countries do tend to like cooler weather. Nothing abnormal about it. Other reason probably could be that you are protected with a good fat layer.

Could be cause of where you grew up, maybe you're used to cold instead of warm. Or, you associate warm with something unpleasant, something to do with your past.

As for your friends maybe they're just shocked. Maybe that is where they always hang out or they think you've changed, its no biggie,

Going to Hawaii in June... Question?

Okay, so I'm going to Waikiki beach in Oahu, Hawaii on June 6th of this year. I'm taking a plane there, and I'm nervous about the flight since I've NEVER been on an airplane or anything like that. The highest I've ever been in the air was probably about as high as a ferris wheel, so I know I'm going to be scared on the trip in the plane. I was just wondering if it's really that scary? A few people I've asked said it's pretty scary for the first time, and I was just wondering if this was true? Thanks :)

Commercial planes are big. It doesn't really feel as if u are high in the air.

If u hit some turbulence u might get tense if this is your first flight. But after u have been in the air for an hour or so, u will relax.

U might bring a laptop or handheld game system to keep u occupied. I always bring a laptop on long flights like that.

Trust me, after a few hours, it will get VERY boring.

It's not scary at all. You might be nervous the first time but you'll get use to it. The only bad thing about flying to Hawaii though is it takes a long time.

I don't think so. Planes are actually quite cool, besides the food... I love flying in planes, it gives me a certain rush. I love it. The first plane ride i went on, my ears popped badly, but what helps that i chewing dentyne fire. :)

my first flight was to the same place a couple years ago. its not very scary but i got a tingly feeling in my stomach when we started to life off. but thats about it.

Which is more fun to travel , very cold place or very warm place?

Could place like lots of snow, you can ski, snowboard, ICe skate, forrest like Russia

Warm place like lots of nice beach, like Hawaii.

Like another answerer said, you'd be packing a lot less if you go someplace warm. It's also a lot cheaper to go somewhere warm, especially if you went somewhere like California, Florida, or Texas. Going someplace with lots of snow would mean you would have to travel further, like to Alaska or Vancouver, or another place in Canada. If you go somewhere in Canada, I'm not sure, but I think you need a passport now too.

You should do whatever you think would be most fun to you. Snow only leaves you to a few options like skiing or snowboarding, while warmer places offer a lot more as far as entertainment and getting your money's worth.

I'd say warm, lots less stuff to pack. I wouldn't go to Hawaii but to Mediterranean or Bahamas if you can afford it.
But you seem to like the winter sports so go there, it'll be more fun to you.
