Wear make up to the beach?

so im going to hawaii soon. in my opinion i look terrible without makeup.. but i'll be in the water and i dont want to look like a clown either. ahh! help! what makeup should i wear to the beach? my favorite is eye makeup? i never am without mascara.

Answer :
okay, so im obsessed with makeup nowadays..
so, you could wear:
1) Tinted moisturizer (they usually have spf) and it doesnt come off your face easily
2) waterproof mascara (my favorite is Colossal Lash waterproof)
3) waterproof eyeliner, any brand works fine
the only thing that i would be hesitant about wearing is eyeshadow and blush..
well, i miss youu ! and i hope i helped :)

Answer :
you should be happy with the way you look! but if you really think its necessary... go for waterproof makeup because you dont want to be all splotchy and smudgy after being near water and all that. try to keep it to the minimum because you really dont want to be all cakey and stuff and have sand in your face as well, it just won't be a nice feeling.

i would suggest... tinted moisturizer or foundation, bronzer, blush, mascara, eyeliner. also remember sunscreen, you can get tinted moisturizer with SPF so that will help :)

have fun!

Answer :
Well, then waterproof makeup is your best friend, LOL. Get waterproof liner, and mascara and your good to go. Also you try clear mascara as well. Skip the eyeshadow, foundation, and powder because more than likely it will come off because of the water. Hope I helped. Also, if you want use a lip balm so your lips looks naturally moisturized and be sure to wear sunscreen. Good luck and have fun.

Answer :
Go for waterproof anything. Believe it or not, there are some powder and stick eyeshadows that are waterproof. I went onto amazon.com and searched waterproof eyeshadow (if you wear eyeshadow) and this link popped up:

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?u…

now, i know you might be like: well, won't it smear? Nope. It will last like a regular eyeshadow or liner without the raccoon eyes when in contact with water (i saw it on tv before). Good Luck and have fun being beautiful!!!

Answer :
wear a good tinted moisturizer
waterproof mascara and waterproof eyeliner
and you should be set :]

Answer :
i think u shouldn't cause if u sweat then it will get messy. remember that if u would be sweating ur pours will get dirty with make up in them

soo i dont think u should

What to pack for my pet for Tsunami?

My family and I have already packed up our personal belonging and everything else needed. The expected time for the Tsunami in Hawaii is 11:35AM (it's 7:55AM right NOW).

I was just wondering what should I be packing for my pet?!
I've got her dog food, extra water for her but anything else?
She has a jacket (because she's a chihuahua) on right now because she was shivering like crazy.
What else should I pack for her?

Please if you have nothing nice to say don't say it at all, I don't have time for your rudeness. Ewa Beach, Hawaii is under Tsunami watch, I don't need more stress.

Answer :
Yikes, Hope you all keep safe, at least yoou have had fair warning.
Good luck. #

Answer :
if you have your essentials then you should be ok i suggest any emergeny things incase it gets hurt...it must be of real value to you if you post something like this...remeber to stay calm and everything will be ok ..bring leash incase it departs from you

Answer :
i think that should be good maybe a blanket that she might wrap up in if she gets scared good luck i hope you will all be ok

Answer :
May I ask where you are going? My advice is that if you're going further inland to be safer, you should leave now. The traffic is probably going to be a bit jammed and you don't want to be scraping along too close to the coast. It may take a few hours just to get to where you need to go. Better safe than sorry, I think.
Does she have a collar with an identification tag? In the case of any natural disaster, if pets become separated, it's better to have one of those. Otherwise, perhaps a little blanket and maybe some kind of treat she likes in case you need her to calm down at some point in the day. Bringing a leash is also a good idea, but I don't think a kennel would be. If a kennel got water in it it would sink and the dog wouldn't have a fighting chance if she was trapped inside.
Good luck and God bless.

Answer :
Do you know if Honoloulou is under that warning too? Because i have relatives there and i was just checkin

Answer :
Just make sure you have the basics- food, water, a leash and harness for pottying, a few toys, treats, and if you have one I would bring a kennel she will be safer kenneled with all the chaos that will be going on. Good luck with everything, I'll keep Hawaii in my prayers.

Answer :
Hmm . . . In addition to her food and extra water, I would put the following into a bag just for the pup: her bowls, some of her favorite treats, a couple of favorite toys, a blanket or towel or whatever she likes for napping on, any papers you have for her about immunizations and licensing, an extra collar, at least one regular leash and one that is extra long if you have one handy, and any and all medicines she might have such as anti-flea, heartworm preventative.

Best of luck to you all!

Answer :
I saw the news of the tsunami online just now. I would make sure you also have a collar on her with identification and also her leash so you don't get separated. Oh, also a copy of her rabies certificate. I wish you lots of luck!

Answer :
You pretty much have everything, the most important things are Food, Water, Jacket, or maybe a pair of small shoes to keep its feet warm but thats optional becuase dogs dont get cold via feet.
Good Luck i hope no damage happens to houses and property.

Do we have to evacuate?

I live 13 blocks away from the beach in Grover Beach, CA. I'm hearing that there is an 8.8 earthquake that struck in Chile. I'm hearing that Hawaii has an emergency evacuation but does this apply to the California coast as well?

Thank you and God Bless!

Answer :
Speedy, if you're 13 blocks away, I think yoy're pretty safe. Grand Avenue gently slopes upward, so you should be fine. 6 foot waves shouldn't make it too far past the tracks, if even that far. I wouldn't be hanging around on the Pismo Pier this afternoon, however.

Answer :
You could always turn on your TV to your local news - I'm sure if there were any warnings you'd find them there. From what I saw on MSNBC, the water is expected to be only about a foot higher than normal due to the earthquake.

Answer :
it wont be a problem for you because your speedy gonzalez

Hawaii blasts sirens, warns of possible tsunami, plus 8.8 earthquake in Chile! Your thoughts?

By JAYMES SONG, Associated Press Writer Jaymes Song, Associated Press Writer – 21 mins ago
EWA BEACH, Hawaii – A tsunami triggered by the Chilean earthquake raced across the Pacific Ocean on Saturday, threatening Hawaii and the U.S. West Coast as well as hundreds of islands from the bottom of the planet to the top.

Sirens blared in Hawaii to alert residents to the impending waves, with authorities asking people living near the water to evacuate. On several South Pacific islands hit by a tsunami last fall, police evacuated tens of thousands of residents from the coast.

The first waves in Hawaii are expected to hit shortly after 11 a.m. Saturday (4 p.m. EST; 2100 GMT) and measure roughly 8 feet (2.5 meters) at Hilo. Most Pacific Rim nations however did not order evacuations, but advised people in low-lying areas to be on the lookout. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/quake_tsunami

Edit:

Is the earth rebelling against all humanity? ( o _ 0 )

Answer :
have the US navy on alert to rescue Hawaiians. Pick up people from small islands. Let south america take care of Chili,

Research why this is happening and hope to have longer warning time in the future.

Answer :
its just how the earth works, its not rebelling.

but i live in oahu and the sirens are blasting every
hour, the tsunami should hit around 11,and im nervous.
i hope nothing bad occurs.

Answer :
I reside about an hour drive distant from
where coastal forest with old growth trees
with trunks wider than three feet were broken
like matchsticks by a previous Tsunami. I've
met fishermen who had their vessel lifted 90
feet by Alaskan wave.

Answer :
One news report said that the tourists at Waikiki will not be evacuated but moved to higher floors in their hotels to avoid gridlock. I think if I were a tourist there I would start walking toward the mountains.

Answer :
UMMM this is a result of tectonic movement. Just like ALL the rest of the earthquakes... Science is good for you..
